line

  • Are there any qualifications required to participate in the technical poster session? No qualifications are required. Anyone can participate. We are actively looking for posters related to research, development, or effective technologies for the decommissioning of the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, or information on the decommissioning of conventional reactors or accident reactors in the past.
  • What will happen at the technical poster session? First, the representative should register on our website. Then, after uploading the abstract and the poster data, the speaker will stand next to the poster and present it on the day of the session.
  • How much is the participation fee for the technical poster session? The participation fee is free. If the digital data of the poster is uploaded to the office’s website within the deadline, the Secretariat will print and post the poster.
  • What will happen to the poster after the session? The poster will be posted at the venue until approximately 15:00 (scheduled) on the day of the session. After that, the representative or the speaker may take the poster down and take it with them if necessary. If the poster is still posted at the venue after the designated time, the Secretariat will consider the poster as unnecessary and it will be removed and disposed.
  • Is it possible to exhibit the poster along with a model? Yes, it is. The Secretariat will arrange for a table. After the representative has registered, the Secretariat will make contact regarding the use of display items. The ideal dimension of the display items is approximately W90cm x D45cm x H60. Please contact the Secretariat if the dimensions exceed the abovementioned. Please note that the request may be rejected for security reasons.

Please use a monitor with dimensions under W90cm x D45cm x H60. Please note that the request may be rejected for security reasons.
  • Must the presentation be in English? As we intend to disseminate such information overseas, we ask for the abstract to be in English. We also ask for the poster to be in English. However, we also accept descriptions in Japanese if the title, name, affiliation, abstract, and figure captions are in English. We also plan to arrange for an interpreter at the venue on the day of the session.
