Mariko Chuman

General Manager, Corporate Planning Office ABLE Co., Ltd

Born in Fukuoka Prefecture. Joined NEC Corporation after graduating from the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Synthetic Chemistry at Chiba University. Retired from the company after marrying and having a child. Subsequently worked in overseas semiconductor sales at an affiliate of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. With the merger of Mitsubishi Electric Corp. and Hitachi, Ltd., the company changed its name to Renesas Electronics Corporation; and following a career in overseas semiconductor sales retired from the company in November 2011 as one of 5,000 early retirees recruited under the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
Following subsequent work as director general of a general incorporated association formed to disseminate renewable energy utilization technologies advocated by professors at the University of Tokyo, joined ABLE Co., Ltd. in October 2017.
