Ivan Baldwin
Ivan Baldwin is Chair of Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster (BECBC) and a Vice President (Government and International Business) of the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL). Ivan has operated in a number of mission critical industry sectors including Construction and Defence, much of this activity has been focused on international markets and exports.
In his role as Chairman of BECBC, Ivan has been leading the development of international relationships through the establishment of reciprocal MOU’s in Spain, France and South Korea. In July of 2018, Ivan was requested by the Gyeongsangbuk-do province in South Korea to present on the value and creation of regional technology clusters.
BECBC is one of the most mature regional business clusters in the UK, operating for 15 years and representing over 300 member companies within the rich and diverse Cumbrian supply chain. With the region already exporting cutting-edge technology and approaches across the world, from the US and Europe, to Asia and the Middle East, Cumbria is quickly forging its identity as an internationally-recognised hotbed of world-class nuclear expertise.
