Mitsutoshi Kamata
Born in Tomioka-Town, living in Nihonmatsu-City. He served for a long time as the ward head at Tomioka-Town, contributing to the welfare of local communities. In the Ootama-village’s temporary residence where evacuees from Tomioka-Town are living after the accidents, he has tackled with various difficult issues the senior people are confronting and proactively enhanced local activities, such as, putting yellow flags in front of the houses so that people can notice if some mishaps, like a death without anyone knowing, happen inside the houses. At present, he is operating a construction company at Tomioka-Town and, at the same time, contributing to the Tomioka-Town as the Pollution
Assessment Committee Chairperson.
